VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - VOLUNTEER SIGN-UPS

Vacation Bible School is an incredible ministry here at Holy Trinity. Last year we had 50 children at our VBS, with well over half not being members of this Church. VBS is a tremendous way to reach out into our community and reach some people with the Gospel. In order to do this, we need your help. Each position is pivotal in making our VBS the best it can be from Crew Leaders to Snack Makers. Please visit our table in the Narthex, check out some of the positions that are open and speak to Cameron, Cathy, or Eric about being a volunteer and helping us reach out into our community.

MANY THANKS To all for prayers, cards, calls and visits. Your consideration and concern helped sustain us. Joyce has recovered from caroided surgery. I have been informed that I am cancer free. We are blessed to be granted recovery and to be a part of a caring congregation.    ~ Bob and Joyce Bauer~

LUTHER QUOTE FOR THE WEEK

But it would be a truly Christian work, if you received sinners, if you entered into your closet and there said, in earnest prayer to the Lord: “Oh my God! Of such a person I hear so and sos, he lieth in his sins, he hath fallen. Oh, Lord, help them to rise again,” etc. This is just the way in which to receive and serve the sinner.

SUMMER HUNGER PROGRAM

School is out, but hunger is not. Free and reduced meal programs at schools, help feed thousands of kids in Northwest Arkansas who rely on this program to be able to eat during the summer months. There are several summer hunger programs in the four county area that are dedicated to serving children in need. LIFE QUOTES “We must be diligent and unceasing in prayer for our land, for the church, people, governments, and culture-to repent, seek God’s forgiveness, turn from wicked ways, and prosper by hearing the saving message of the Gospel which leads to life everlasting.”

WHAT IS A CHRISTIAN?

A Christian is a mind through which Christ thinks,

A heart through which Christ loves,

A voice through which Christ speaks, and

A hand through which Christ helps.
