Bible Study

We offer a variety of opportunities to be immersed in the Word of God each Sunday through Bible Study. This page offers an overview of the various classes so you can get the lay of the land.

  • Ladies Bible Study - meets in the Conference Room
    The Ladies Bible Study, led my Marcia Black,  is now studying the Life Light Series, Romans.  The study includes a five day worksheet with Bible verses and questions to be answered before class on Sunday.  A great study and all women are invited to attend. Worksheets will be provided along with an Enrichment magazine.  The class meets in the conference room.

  • Men’s Fellowship and Bible Study (MFABS) - meets in the Choir Room
    The Men’s Fellowship and Bible Study (MFABS) is currently meeting in the Choir room at 9:30 A.M. between early and late service. We serve Onyx coffee with donuts, and have fellowship before we start our studies. This Fall, we will be looking at Prophesies from some of the major and minor prophets, and then finish before Christmas with a look at the Intertestamental period, which leads to the birth of Jesus. ALL MEN ARE WELCOME!!

  • Adult Bible Study - meets in Classroom 1
    The Adult Bible Study class is led by Pr. Longman and meets each week in Classroom 1. We spend some time in the readings for the coming Sunday, discussing the themes that are likely to emerge in next week's Sermon. The class is very interactive as participants share their questions and insights. We're not afraid of rabbit holes! All adult high-school age and up are welcome.

  • Parables of Jesus - meets in Pr. Longman’s study
    There is an adult study meeting in Pastor’s office diving into the Parables of Jesus. The class is led by Pam Pickett and we include a focus on First Century Jewish culture to gain context.  Please feel free to join us at anytime during the study!

  • Growing in Grace - meets in the Chapel and then breaks out to age-specific rooms

Also, we periodically schedule a New Member Class for those who are interested in what we believe, teach, and confess in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
